Mazarakata village is set only 5 minutes from Argostoli, on the way towards Pessada. It is a small settlement but is a destination of great archeological interest, as it was discovered that this was the location of an ancient Mycenaean cemetery, which is the largest of it’s kind ever discovered. Mazarakata has been highly developed recently as in the village have been built many luxury residences. As Mazarakata is connected to Peratata village, it benefits from all the amenities the village has to offer as mini market, bakery etc. Closest beaches: Avithos, Paliolinos
