Lixouri is the second largest town in Kefalonia after Argostoli. The town has almost 3000 inhabitants. Lixouri is connected to Argostoli by the sea with regular ferry itineraries. It has many sights such as the Lakovatou Library but also many lovely beaches, such as Xi, Petanoi etc. The town offers many modern amenities, restaurants, hotels, shops etc. Closest beaches: Lepeda, Xi, Petanoi, Mega Lakos
