Atheras is in the southwestern part of Kefalonia, in the Palliki peninsula. The village affords infinite views to the sea. In only 3 kilometers distance there is the beach of the village, Porto Atheras, a picturesque small bay at the edge of which there is the traditional church of Saint Spyridonas with its distinctive blue color.
